He tried to say, but even though his lips kept moving, at the point of rejection, air suddenly refused to leave his lips.
The sight of it made White pause, his hands rubbing his neck, before he replied again.

And once more, the words disappeared.

Zisel asked, noticing the weirdness of it.
White paused in disbelief before an idea occurred to him, and he tried.
"Actually... I'd like something to eat too."
He said, and while it made Zisel smile, White's heart shook.
