Zero suddenly stopped so Alpha and the Lords also stopped. Zero smiled with a sweat, pointed at Lords and asked, "... Don't tell me you all spend the coins to buy it...is it so cheap, of 5000?"
Delta faked a smile...but she couldn't and just sighed and at the end and answered, "No, I mean yes...God of Time gave us that as an EMI...we will have to pay her 5000 every week till three months...and we got it."
Zero was surprised while Alpha was confused a little bit but she was understanding it a little bit. Zero had no problem then and he started walking again, holding Kin on his shoulders and Alpha and the Lords also started walking with him.
"But why did you do that? There's nothing in my face, and I would just wear my mask whenever there will be work for me or any order. What's the problem?"
And Alpha hit on Zero's head and he smiled with a sweat, realising that he said something wrong but doesn't know what.
Zeta pointed a finger towards Zero with a little bit of anger and said, "What do you think we are of you, Sacreficer?! You have always considered us as just partners at our job and nothing?!"
Everyone nodded their heads agreeing but Zero's answer was simple, "Yes, of course. We are just together for work, that was the only reason we came all together, and you all know that I just do what I have to do, there's nothing such things like relationship or anything for me. That's all I would say."
And Lords started sweating, but Alpha became a little bit angry, it was looking rude and she asked, "Then what am I for you, Zero?"
The Lords were frozen by the question, never believed that Alpha would ask such question. But Zero was simple, he looked at Alpha and answered straight, "You are...my responsibility. Taking care and keeping you alive is all my responsibility, that's all I think."
The Lords were more shocked, Eclipse and Beta ran to bring popcorn and Epsilon ran and she picked up Kin and took her a little far. And they all looked at each other, realising...this is definitely going somewhere wrong now, but fun as well.
Alpha was frozen, Zero looked at her, confused that what had happened to her. She looked at Zero with an angry smile and asked, "Just... taking care of me is all...? And whatever I can do...I can...?"
It wasn't relating with it. But Zero just smiled and answered, "Yes...did I break your freedom ever?"
"Then tell me..." Alpha hold Zero's hand and asked with a strange smile, "... would you mind if I go with someone else?"
Everyone was having the popcorn and they were sure, the entertainment is going to start soon now.
"Sure, I have no problem until you are not hurt or anything. There's no doubt about that. You can go."
And Alpha was frozen...Zero was looking more like her father than anything else, not even like a father who would worry about his daughter and would make right choices for her and deny at wrong, Zero won't interfere until and unless Alpha would cry or show pain and she doesn't want that, otherwise whatever she wants, Zero will give anyways.
Kin started waking up but Epsilon kept her back on her shoulder, covering her eyes and trying to hide what would happen next.
Zero didn't understand the one second silence, and Alpha was completely becoming angry and Versil came in her hand flying from nowhere and Lords were shocked...they were seeing Versil after years. They all looked at Zero and Alpha and realised that it's going somewhere wrong now.
Alpha swiped and moved her sword which cut the pillar of the hallways in two pieces but Zero was sitting down on his feet, he dodged it easily and stood and looked at Alpha.
"You want to fight, Alpha--"
"Shut up Sacreficer and just leave already!" Eta shouted and Zero looked at her with surprises. Eta came between them and said, "You leave us and Alpha...or you will be dead."
Zero wasn't afraid of dying, but all he thought was...that he hurt Alpha, the one whose responsibility to not let her cry was making her tear. Zero nodded his head and he just snapped his fingers and he disappeared all of a sudden to nowhere which shocked the Lords more.
But suddenly they heard Alpha sniffing, they all looked at her with widened eyes, Versil was still in her hand and she asked, "Why... he has no feelings for humans...? Not for anyone...?"
Lords were more shocked..."You have got the feelings for him?! For someone who can never have for others?!"
Alpha fell on her knees and she actually started crying, "...Why...all he means is just his responsibility...? Why...is he made like that? Does he even considers anyone...as his friend?"
And Lords were frozen...but they couldn't answer. Because from the very beginning, he was like that as much they know, avoiding occasions and all he meant is just by his responsibility, but it is not even his own fault, he has grown like that only, even growing up together, he was still the same.
And God of Time was colliding her head on the clouds to the invisible barrier, realising that it's all her fault, "...He would be the same if he would have got his memories back, I thought...he would change after losing the memories...but by all whatever happened, he is still the same..."
"No friendship...no love...no affection..." Alpha kept on crying and Beta and Epsilon tried to calm her down, patting on her back and Alpha said, "...will be ever feel how I feel for him...the one saved me, the one who cared about me when the world had forgotten me...the same person is acting as a stranger...why...?"
And no one would know the answer.
