A smile immediately appeared on Michael's face as he sensed Lily's awakening.
The seriousness that had occupied his expression vanished almost instantly. His shoulders relaxed, and he leaned back into his chair once more.
It would be a lie to say he didn't care whether Lily awakened or not. Of course he cared. She was family.
