Kude sat down on the sofa beside him, like a lord, and asked, "Did you see your daughter? Happy?"
Kaisa didn't respond to him, still tightly holding Mengmeng's soft body, nodding at Kude, the joy of regaining what was lost filled her chest. Her Mengmeng, her daughter.
Kude didn't like Kaisa's tears. Seeing her cry made him irritable, and he snapped, "Then hurry up and cook. Look at the time. Do you want to starve me?"
Just then, Mengmeng's stomach started to growl.
Kaisa heard it, immediately let go of her, and asked with a face full of gentle love, "Mengmeng, haven't you eaten yet?"
Mengmeng nodded with tears, "No, Mummy, I'm hungry."
It's this late and she still hasn't eaten.
Kaisa's heart tightened, and she quickly asked with concern, "What do you want to eat, Mengmeng? Mummy will cook for you right now."
"Cao Kaisa, what are you dawdling for? Do you really want to starve me?"
