Asher waited until the swarm had gathered close enough.
The miniature sun burned in one palm, its light spilling across the Void. In his other hand, gathered energy had compressed into a dense golden sphere.
Wraith Voids battered the expanding barrier from every side, drawn to the power he held. More poured in from the darkness, piling over one another in their desperate attempt to reach him.
Pantheon's warning echoed in his mind.
(The concentration is sufficient. Any further increase may destabilize the surrounding space.)
"Then we're done here."
With a sharp motion, he brought his hands together.
The miniature sun collapsed between his palms.
A golden flash swallowed him. Then the energy erupted outward in a perfect sphere, sweeping through the darkness with a force that left no room for escape. The shockwave tore through the Wraith Voids, ripping their bodies apart. They dissolved before they could even scream, erased by the golden surge.
The wave continued.
