Chapter 531 - Fiendfyre Sword

Although Seth couldn't quite figure out how Thunderbird had appeared so suddenly, he was certain of one thing: the two silver wands behind their opponent were no longer effective in battle.

The other wizards from their club, though ten strong, weren't making much of an impact either.

Even if some of them weren't at their peak, they still weren't the kind of threat Thunderbird could face alone.

When someone mentioned "saving people," Thunderbird scoffed coldly.

"I don't care if they live or die. I'm here to kill, and that's it!"

His voice grew even colder as he spoke.

Without wasting a moment, he flicked his wand, squeezed it tightly, and pulled out a bright scarlet long blade.

The Pure Land Society wizards didn't waste time with words either.

Always on guard, they saw Thunderbird make a move and immediately launched a counterattack.

"Avada Kedavra!"

"Smash him to pieces!"

"Pierce his heart and crush his bones!"

They showed no mercy, greeting Thunderbird with vicious curses as they attacked.

But Thunderbird remained calm despite facing a dozen spells coming from both sides.

With a loud shout, dozens of fiery crows burst out from beneath him, rushing forward like a wall of flames.

The colorful spells slammed against this fiery flock with loud bangs, but none could get past the suicidal blockade the crows formed.

Each spell was intercepted and exploded mid-air, creating a dazzling display of fireworks around Thunderbird.

"Heh, your turn's over, little bugs," Thunderbird sneered after fending off the initial attack.

Raising the Ferrum Ignis high, he brought it down with a powerful slash.

The long fiery blade stretched and expanded rapidly as he swung it. The flames twisted into several snake-like heads that snapped viciously at anyone nearby.

"We have to block it! Use every spell we've got to take it down!" the wizards shouted, preparing for the next assault.

Seth stayed calm when he saw Thunderbird about to strike Fiendfyre.

He quickly shouted to his companions, "All curses, end!"

At once, more than a dozen spells rang out simultaneously, and a pale golden light flickered from the tips of everyone's wands.

Under Seth's guidance, this magical glow gathered swiftly into a dazzling, dense stream of light that shot straight toward Fiendfyre.

The moment the raging Fiendfyre clashed with this combined magical beam, a deafening explosion echoed through the air.

It was like watching a fierce flame meet cold water. Whether the fire would burn through the water or the water would douse the flame depended entirely on which magic was stronger.

The "Curse of All Curses," powered by over a dozen wizards, was truly impressive.

After several tense seconds, the golden light held firm against Fiendfyre, gradually pushing it back toward Thunderbird.

Seeing this, the wizards of the Pure Land Society cheered with relief and immediately poured even more magic into their attack, hoping to take down Thunderbird once and for all.

Meanwhile, the allied wizards from the other clubs were growing desperate.

Clearly, Thunderbird alone wasn't a match for their combined strength.

"You really think this is the end? You're being way too optimistic," Thunderbird sneered coldly, showing no sign of panic despite being on the defensive.

But just as he finished speaking, the air around him seemed to thicken, as if solidifying.

His wand, once glowing with fiery orange, now shifted to a cold, eerie blue.

"That's... Blue Fiendfyre!" whispered the injured Augurey from the back, his voice trembling.

"It's been years since Lord Thunderbird used this spell. I never thought we'd see it again today..."

"Blue Fiendfyre?" Jubilee Bird murmured in disbelief.

"Only Thunderbird and Lord Grindelwald can wield such powerful magic. Looks like we might be in serious trouble."

As Thunderbird unleashed the blue Fiendfyre, the entire battle shifted dramatically, turning the tide in his favor.

The magical light cast by the Pure Land Society seemed to strike against a wall of solid steel. It couldn't break through and was actually pushed back.

Seth felt a surge of frustration.

When he saw the blue Fiendfyre, he was taken aback.

He'd heard of Grindelwald's signature magic before, but he never expected to see it wielded on a silver wand gun.

'No, they couldn't keep going like this. Staying locked in this stalemate would only drain their magic, and once that blue Fiendfyre got too close, they'd be finished.'

"Hold on to me!" Seth shouted to those around him.

Then, drawing his wand, he quickly gathered energy and unleashed a 'Shock Thunderbolt Explosion Curse' aimed at Thunderbird.

At Seth's signal, the wizards of the Pure Land Society braced themselves against the advancing blue Fiendfyre.

Although the Fiendfyre surged forward, closing the distance, their defense held strong.

"Hah, so you think you can pull tricks on me?" Thunderbird sneered, clearly noticing Seth's move.

He didn't rush in blindly; instead, he withdrew his blue Fiendfyre backhand and transformed it into a blazing blue hell blade, charging toward the explosion.

Seth's curse was still charging, so it wasn't very powerful yet.

Thunderbird easily swept it aside, disrupting the magic within it.

With a loud bang, the curse was extinguished.

But just as this happened, it felt like both Thunderbird and the Pure Land Society had been pushed back to where they started. The battle had once again reached a standstill.

Seth was stunned, struggling to comprehend who this mysterious figure was and why they were wielding forbidden magic.

He knew all too well that anything connected to Grindelwald, especially from his old school Durmstrang, was strictly taboo in Europe.

Thunderbird, holding a dark blue sword pointed at the ground, declared coldly, "The dead don't need to know this! Since you've chosen to oppose our silver wands today, leave your bodies behind!"

Seth's anger flared at Thunderbird's bold words, but beneath that, he was deeply concerned.

Their group was already exhausted from a fierce battle on the front lines.

Seth himself had cast several powerful thunderbolt spells back-to-back and maintained a wide-range anti-Apparition charm, leaving him with less than half his usual magical strength.

And now, facing an opponent whose silver wand was as powerful as in their prime, Seth knew their chances were slim.

If he were at full strength, maybe he could hold his own, but now...

"Everyone, be careful," Seth warned his comrades.

"This person is exceptionally strong. If you can't handle it, fall back. I'll lift the anti-Apparition spell. This is going to be tough."

He wasn't foolish enough to send his visibly injured team forward recklessly.

But Thunderbird wasn't fooled.

He caught on instantly to Seth's plan just by reading their expressions.

"Trying to run? Too late!" Thunderbird spat, sneering.
