Even Bai Meiyue couldn't help but gain some weight while her mother was taking care of her. She used to be petite and thin, but since her mother started taking care of her, she had gained two circles around her waist. In fact, she would have gained even more weight if not for the fact that there were refugees coming in every single day; Bai Meiyue would have gained even more weight.
Some of the refugees were sent by Dacheng as a test, while some of them were true refugees. Of course, Bai Meiyue did not allow anyone to enter the safe base; instead, she let them stay with the other survivors who were living outside the safe base. Anyway, they were under the protection of the safe base, and there was no need for them to take these survivors inside the safe base.
