Chapter 10 - CHAPTER 10. THE DIVINE DRAGON'S PATH.

The sun dipped behind the mountains as Akira and Rina walked through the peaceful streets of Hoshizuro. They already understood Akimitsu's strange connection to Zakuro Hakura — the scarf he carried, and the ancient sword he found that responded to him as if it knew his spirit.

Rina glanced at Akira.

"Akimitsu has changed ever since he found Zakuro's belongings."

Akira nodded.

"Those things didn't choose him by accident."

A soft running sound approached — Akimitsu.

"Akimitsu," Akira said quietly. "What's wrong?"

---

Rumors of the Bamboo Forest

Akimitsu held the scarf tightly.

"Master Shinowara and Taro were talking again. They mentioned clues about Zakuro in the Bamboo Forest. But they won't let me go."

Rina frowned.

"They're only protecting you."

Akimitsu shook his head.

"Every time I hold this scarf… something inside pulls me toward her story. I need to know the truth."

Akira placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder.

"Strength first. Answers later."

And somewhere in the distance, a lone figure listened quietly before melting into the night.

---

The Warning from Shinowara School

At Shinowara School, Akimitsu overheard Taro and Master Shinowara speaking.

"Many have chased Zakuro's clues," Taro said. "None returned."

"Because they entered unprepared," Shinowara added. "Akimitsu lacks the refinement needed to survive the western forest."

Akimitsu stepped into the room.

"So it's true. The forest holds her secrets."

Shinowara nodded.

"And you'll face them when you're ready — not before."

Akimitsu clenched his fists but silently accepted the decision.

---

Zoren's Promise

On the way home, Zoren appeared beside him.

"I heard everything," Zoren said. "Zakuro. The forest. And you."

Akimitsu exhaled shakily.

"When I think of Zakuro, something awakens. As if I'm supposed to follow her path."

Zoren smiled gently.

"Then I'll help you. But you must sharpen yourself first."

Akimitsu raised his head.

"Then I'll train without holding back."

---

The Beginning of Seiryū-ryu

The next morning, Taro called Akimitsu to a quiet training field surrounded by greenery.

"Akimitsu," he said, "you want Zakuro's truth… then you must learn the art she respected the most — Seiryū-ryu, the Divine Dragon Sword Style."

Akimitsu felt his breath catch.

"Seiryū-ryu…?"

Taro nodded.

"It is a style of purity. A dance between mind, energy, and movement. Those who master it can hear the flow of the world."

Akimitsu tightened his grip on Ryugun's sword.

"I'm ready."

Narrated Training — No Days, Only Growth

The Training of Shin — Mind

Akimitsu's mornings began in silence.

He sat beneath old cedar trees while the wind whispered through the leaves.

Taro taught him to listen — not with his ears, but with his spirit.

"Empty your thoughts," Taro said.

"Let the world speak."

Akimitsu learned to calm the storm inside him.

His focus sharpened.

His emotions steadied.

His mind became clear as still water.

---

The Training of Ki — Energy

Next came the art of inner flow.

Taro guided his breathing, teaching him how to let energy rise and fall naturally.

"Your Ki is the dragon within," Taro said.

"Let it guide your sword… not force it."

At first, Akimitsu's Ki surged wildly.

His strikes shook with too much power, too little control.

But slowly…

He learned the rhythm.

His movements grew lighter, deeper.

Every inhale strengthened him, every exhale steadied him.

Ryugun's sword vibrated faintly — acknowledging him.

---

The Training of Kō — Technique

Finally came Seiryū-ryu's flowing sword forms.

The style moved like a dragon through clouds —

Smooth curves, sudden twists, sharp turns.

Akimitsu practiced until his blade danced effortlessly.

Sweeping arcs.

Silent steps.

Graceful transitions.

Taro circled him, studying every motion.

"Good," Taro said softly.

"You're no longer fighting the sword… you're moving with it."

The scarf around Akimitsu's arm fluttered in perfect rhythm, almost guiding him.

---

A Warrior Reborn

As time passed — not counted in days, but in progress —

Akimitsu changed.

His body moved with natural strength.

His spirit felt centered and alive.

His sword responded to him like an old companion.

Taro watched him complete a final flowing strike, the blade cutting through the air clean and precise.

"You've reached the threshold," Taro said.

"You are ready to begin your true journey."

Akimitsu stood straight, Ryugun's sword steady in his hand, Zakuro's scarf trailing behind him like a memory.

"I'm going to the Bamboo Forest," he whispered.

"And I won't turn back."

To be continued…
