Clark was silent for a while, then stuffed the remaining half bottle of wine into Helager's hand.
Helager didn't bother with a cup, grabbing the bottle and tilting his head back to gulp it down.
Not long after, he was completely drunk, sprawled on the ground and began his drunken antics, mumbling nonsense, sometimes crying, sometimes laughing, intermittently kneeling and begging to the shadows on the wall.
Everyone exchanged glances, all feeling a chill down their spines.
Clark was the same, silently watching Helager begin to roll around on the floor.
A young soldier walked up to Clark, glancing at the guy rolling around on the ground and then looking toward his captain.
"Captain, this..."
"Take him outside to get some fresh air and sober up," an old soldier suggested.
"Forget it, let him stay drunk, being awake is suffering," another sighed.
