The three Bodhisattvas of Western Heaven arrived at Penglai West one after another. Hearing each other's names, their hearts sank slightly: "Why are they here too?"
Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva was originally the attendant Bodhisattva of Amitabha Buddha. After Amitabha left the Earth Immortal Realm, his status in Western Heaven became unstable, so he sought refuge with the Ancient Lamp Buddha, becoming Lamp Buddha's attendant Bodhisattva.
Samantabhadra Bodhisattva, on the other hand, was the attendant Bodhisattva of The Buddha, while Fahua Forest Bodhisattva was the attendant Bodhisattva of Maitreya Buddha.
The three Buddhas were divided into three powers in Western Heaven. Lamp Buddha represented the Ancient Buddha Faction, The Buddha represented the Present Buddha Faction, and Maitreya Buddha represented the Future Buddha Faction.
The three factions coexisted. Although they all resided in Western Heaven, there were also some open and hidden struggles between them.
