Li Li sat there; she hadn't invited Jiang Xiaobai to sit down, so he stood there talking to her.
"I want to go out and clear my mind. Being in the city and working for just a few days has really overwhelmed me. I've realized that many of my thoughts are outdated. I want to change, but I might need a few days. I know I have to change, and I know how kind you've been to me, so I hope my first transformation can be closely linked to you."
Li Li's face broke into a smile.
"It seems you're starting to figure things out. Mark, I've said it before, you will change. You can't fight against the tides of society; you can only go with the flow."
Jiang Xiaobai said, "Sister Li, why don't we go out for a few days, okay? Sister Yu told me to take good care of you. If I can't manage that, I'll have to pack up and go."
