Gabriel rolled on the ground, shouting from the pain he felt across his body.
It felt like his insides had been set on fire, as if his veins were filled with burning lava, as if his own bones were scalding hot pieces of metal.
His own body turned against him at this moment.
"Aaargh!" The reversed Conquering Essence flowed through Gabriel's body, causing a lot of immediate damage.
Some of his fleshy mane tendrils began to fall off and tumors grew on his furless skin.
The immortals wanted to rush down to approach Gabriel but when they sensed the cause of his agony, they retreated in fear.
That was reversed Conquering Essence. Wasn't it supposed to be destroyed after the All-King killed the Primordial Horse? How was it here?

"You!" Gabriel gritted his teeth, fighting through the pain of his dissolving body to stand up.
