Chapter 675: Advancing to Demon King Realm
Boom!
The yuan power clouds in the sky churned faster and faster until a thunderous roar split the air.
Everyone watched in shock as the cloud layer was forcibly torn apart and a thousand‑zhang torrent of yuan power poured down.
The stream descended like a waterfall from the Ninth Heaven, its momentum shaking heaven and earth.
All eyes turned to the slender figure standing atop the peak.
He rose slowly to his feet, staring up at the falling cascade with not a hint of fear.
Instead, a wild heat burned in his dark eyes.
Buzz.
Lin Langtian's body shuddered and a vast black vortex appeared above his head.
The yuan waterfall slammed into it, and even the vortex trembled under the impact.
It spun faster, devouring at full power and dragging the torrent into his body.
As that ocean of power flooded in, yuan qi writhed like snakes beneath his skin, lending him a terrifying appearance.
One end of the waterfall connected to the heavens, the other disappeared into the vortex—like a dragon spanning the gap between sky and earth.
But stepping into Samsara would not be so simple.
Soon after the first stream fell, the cloud sea rolled again.
This time, ten more waterfalls roared down, white dragons baring their fangs as they dove for Lin Langtian.
"Devouring Ancestral Symbol!"
The low shout rang from his lips.
A pure black radiance burst from his crown, rapidly condensing above into an enormous black rune.
It writhed slowly, and an overwhelming devouring force exploded outward.
Under its pull, even distant onlookers felt their own yuan power straining to surge free.
The sky twisted as the devouring aura intensified, dragging all ten waterfalls down toward Lin Langtian.
As they slammed into the vortex, dull explosions echoed from within his body.
Before their eyes, his frame swelled at a shocking rate.
In just a dozen breaths, he had become a hundred‑zhang giant, yuan force raging through him like enraged serpents.
Bang!
His bulging arm suddenly exploded in a shower of blood and flesh.
Cries of alarm burst from Tianfu's disciples. Had he failed?
But beneath the ruined limb, golden bones gleamed with strange light, dragon and Kun roars echoing faintly within.
Vitality surged as flesh regrew at astonishing speed.
All across his body, meat and skin burst again and again, only to rapidly re‑form.
As long as bone and organs remained intact, his Dragon Kun body could restore anything.
And this torrent of yuan power, monstrous as it was, could not destroy such a foundation.
Bang, bang, bang!
The gruesome sound of flesh exploding rolled from the peak, blood mist slowly engulfing it.
The detonations lasted from noon until dusk before finally beginning to fade.
No one could see through the thick crimson fog now shrouding the mountain.
No one knew if their Fu Lord had endured the trial.
Roar!
At some unknown moment, a deep dragon's cry tore from the blood cloud, its pressure making countless hearts tremble.
Blinding gold light ripped the mist apart and surged skyward, coalescing into a massive golden Dragon Kun.
It opened its maw and swallowed the remaining blood fog in one gulp before throwing its head back in a sky‑shaking roar.
The yuan power clouds above howled as they collapsed, only to be devoured whole by the golden beast.
Sunlight spilled down once more as the oppressive aura slowly faded.
But every gaze remained locked on the Dragon Kun.
Dazzling light flared from its body as it twisted and shrank, finally condensing into a single figure.
He wore green robes, his black hair lifted gently by the breeze.
Handsome features glowed with a faint golden sheen, an indescribable majesty radiating from him.
His dark eyes were as deep as the night sky.
He stood on the air, long fingers slowly curling into fists as he threw back his head and let out a clear cry.
A pillar of light a thousand zhang wide blasted from his body, piercing the heavens and forming a colossal disk above.
The disk turned slowly, without beginning or end—like Samsara itself.
"The Samsara Disk…"
Zhou Tong and the others stared at it in delight.
Its appearance meant only one thing: Lin Langtian had truly stepped into the Samsara Realm.
In the sky, his gaze also lingered on the shining disk, the corners of his mouth lifting in quiet excitement.
"Finally made it."
As he murmured, a thought stirred within him.
A black demonic pattern slowly emerged at his brow, twisting into a tadpole‑like character for "King."
Cold, sinister energy seeped from it.
The Demon King Mark.
It signified that as his yuan cultivation broke through to Samsara, his demonic power had followed suit—into the Demon King Realm.
With both yuan and demonic qi advancing in tandem, his strength had exploded.
"Samsara Realm. Demon King Realm…"
He flexed, feeling the boundless tide of power roaring within him, and could not help but smile.
So this was Samsara.
The difference from before was like heaven and abyss.
No wonder such experts held such lofty status in the Tianxuan Continent.
And now that both yuan and demonic cultivation had broken through, the fused Yuan Demon Power within him had grown to an unprecedented level.
At last, he possessed the capital to fear nothing.
"Congratulations, Fu Lord, on stepping into Samsara," Zhou Tong called as he and the others rose to meet him, bowing deeply.
They all understood.
With this breakthrough, Lin Langtian's strength had reached a truly terrifying height—
And Tianfu's future shone ever brighter with him at its helm.
"Just a lucky step," he replied lightly.
"How long was I in seclusion?"
"Two months, Fu Lord," a senior answered respectfully.
"Two months…"
He nodded.
Not a small span—but well worth the result.
Suddenly, his expression shifted as heat flared from a distant peak.
"The Flame Master?"
"What is it?" Zhou Tong asked, sensing the fluctuation as well.
A streak of red shot toward them, resolving into the Flame Master.
His body glowed crimson and faintly translucent, as though insubstantial.
"You broke through as well?" he asked in surprise, feeling Lin Langtian's new aura.
"Mm.
"But from the sound of it, someone else has too.
"Brother Dong?" Lin Langtian asked, lips pressing together.
"That's right. He's in seclusion now.
"If all goes well, he'll reach Samsara in a few days," the Flame Master said, unable to hide his satisfaction.
With the Second World War on the horizon and Demons stirring in the dark, each new powerhouse was a blessing.
Lin Langtian only nodded.
For Lin Dong to step into Samsara now was no surprise.
He glanced at the Flame Master's flickering form.
"You came in quite a rush. What's happened?"
"Chaos Demon Sea is in trouble," the Flame Master said darkly.
Lin Langtian's eyes narrowed.
"Demons?"
"They've started to move," came the answer.
"The Chaos Demon Sea is in complete upheaval.
"Countless Demons are surging up from the depths.
"Before long, news will reach the Eastern Xuan Region."
"There's a Suppressing Demon Prison there that my true body holds personally.
"Of the three major prisons, it has the fewest Demons…
"But it contains something extremely dangerous."
"What?" Lin Langtian asked.
"The Great Heavenly Evil Demon King—once the Demon Emperor's mount."
Sharp intakes of breath sounded all around.
Even those who had never heard the name knew the weight of "Demon Emperor"—a being whom even the Symbol Ancestor had only sealed by burning his own Samsara.
A mount of such an existence could only be horrifying.
"The Great Heavenly Evil Demon King…" Lin Langtian murmured.
He remembered how terrifying the Great Heavenly Evil Demon that hosted Tian Yuanzi and the others had been.
Its king would be far worse—worthy of the Flame Master's personal watch.
"Its strength is just a shade below Heavenly Kings Hall's.
"If it escapes, we'll be in real trouble," the Flame Master warned.
Lin Langtian nodded.
Should it break free, Abyssal Prison's power would spike, pressing them even harder.
"Do you need my help?" he asked.
"Yes. But not with me," the Flame Master replied without hesitation.
"At your current level, you're qualified to lend a hand."
"Then who?"
"Primeval Master," came the grave answer.
"From what I've learned, Abyssal Prison has located him.
"He was gravely wounded in the last war and is now at a critical stage of recovery.
"I want you to protect him."
"Abyssal Prison knows his condition.
"If he's hurt again now, our overall strength will plunge."
Primeval Master was another of the Eight Ancients, one of their highest cards.
Losing him would be catastrophic.
"What about the Thunder Master and the others?" Lin Langtian asked.
"Abyssal Prison is fully prepared.
"The Thunder Master is trapped after probing their movements.
"Space Master and Darkness Master have been pinned down as well and can't break free.
"That's why I need you," the Flame Master said.
"As for the Life and Death Master, she was wounded nearly as badly as Little Junior Sister.
"She should still be in Samsara."
"Life and Death Master…" Lin Langtian's thoughts drifted briefly to little Yinyin.
But with her still unawakened, there was no need to mention it now.
"For the Great Heavenly Evil Demon King, I have to reclaim this avatar.
"So you'll need to move quickly," the Flame Master added as his form flickered more violently.
Lin Langtian nodded.
With such chaos in the Chaos Demon Sea, he had to go—Tang Xinlian and Mu Lingshan were there, and their domain would not remain untouched.
The Flame Master sighed softly, then said no more.
Flames burst from his body and, when they faded, he was gone.
He had clearly withdrawn this incarnation—proof enough of how dire the crisis was.
"Brother Zhou, Elder Dugu, I'll head to the Chaos Demon Sea at once.
"With Abyssal Prison focused there, the Eastern Xuan Region should remain safe for now," Lin Langtian said.
"Return safely, Fu Lord," Zhou Tong and the others answered solemnly.
He nodded as silver light exploded from him, twisting the surrounding space.
Sssht.
When the light vanished, so had he, leaving only wild spatial ripples in his wake.
Zhou Tong and the others exchanged a long look and sighed.
The world was truly descending into chaos.
