Jack grimaced, feeling the dread of an un-dodge-able attack weigh in on him.
CLANG!
Rayan roared, slashing away at the metal barrage allowing Jack to burst away... But it was no use...
Callahan descended with a gigantic nail falling from the sky... Raining down on Jack with a devastating explosion running along the edge of the crater.
Jack brought himself back, using his flames to manipulate his body's chemistry.
It required immense energy that Jack did not have... And yet his contract with Prometheus gave his body new life... It was as if this newfound energy did not come from a physical place.
"This is... Awesome!" Jack yelled, evading a metal pillar before spinning away from Callahan's greatsword.
He dashed, avoiding a meteor that tore away at another large mass of the crater's wall.
Jack ducked into a slide, just as the metallic greatsword passed over his face by inches...
Jack's fist drove into the ground, turning him straight at Callahan... Using a direct burst of flames, he fired at Callahan's face, twisting and flipping around his titanic form as a pair of flaming daggers formed in his hands...
CLANG!
Callahan met the blades, knocking them away with his metal gauntlet.
SMASH!
Jack foresaw stars, limping back as Callahan followed up his downward strike with a colossal fist of metal... Erupting from the ground itself... And descended towards Jack...
He looked up in confusion, watching as blood rushed over his vision...
His flames... Had halted...
Callahan laughed, appearing above just as Rayan sent a burst of corruption towards the attack, causing the fist to somehow dissipate into a purple cloud...
CRASH!
Callahan slammed Jack into the ground, grabbing him by the ankle and throwing him into a wall of metal... Grinning as the near-death Catalyst rolled down the side of another small crater...
The metal encased him, snaring him and piercing his charred body in several places.

The entire crater... Was ablaze... Leaving smoke and fire to cloud the vision of all battle participants...
Chase struggled underneath the gravity that held him face to the ground... Only able to burn as Jack's chaotic and unending storm of fire slowly consumed him...
Poppy was panting, her eyes darting around anxiously as she tried to figure out a way to get the group out of this... While being under the terrible pressure of Jack's inferno.
Vex dashed forth with three shockwaves of indigo energy, shattering the ground below him... Appearing before Hans with a savage grin.
gritting his teeth, Hans open palm slammed the side of Vex's blade, kicking forth and twisting his body with a devastating slam that Vex only chuckled at, stepping to the side and slashing the side of Hans' helmet off...
Hans growled, stomping the ground as several mountains of rock erupted, nearly impaling the Vex, but alas...
He danced around the spikes, slipping down the side and launching several arcs of energy at Hans... Who lifted a wall of rock from the ground and braced as it shattered against him...
"Shit!" Hans screamed, leaping into the air as the Earth below gently followed...
He grimaced, hurling several meteors at Vex, who only dodged and parried, launching several attacks right back at Hans...
His vision narrowed, outstretching his hands and forcing the siphoned dirt into a wall... Blocking the attack and shifting into a giant hammer as Hans fell upon the Vex of Seh Jenah...
SLAM!
The ground erupted before Vex, who tapped his blade against his own shoulder in amusement... Taking a step back as several spikes of rock shot from the ground... Missing his face by a game of inches.
"Hmph." Poppy grinned, slashing down at Vex from behind as her spear lit vibrantly with all that was left of her energy...
Hans grinned, letting go of his hammer and twisting his body... Summoning the Earth into a greatsword that was destined for Vex's throat...
CL-CLANG!
With graceful movements, Vex used the seconds of a gap between the two attacks and parried Poppy while blocking Hans...
Poppy's eyes widened, landing with a slide as she instantly turned to parry two arcs of energy with immense haste...
"Impressive..." Vex muttered, swaying his head as Hans fist flew past...
He palmed Hans' chest, launching him back with a surge of indigo energy and a chuckle.
"You still don't get it..." He sighed, dashing towards Poppy and hacking at her sternum with near instant movements...
CLANG!
Clatter...
Vex looked up in surprise as Apocalypse spun in the air before The Vex caught the weapon with curiosity...
He glanced at Chase... A smile meeting another...
"Surely that spell should be able to hold a mere Demi-God down at most..." Vex frowned, tilting his head as Chase struggled with an outstretched hand and trembling body...
"To throw such a heavy weapon under that amount of weight... I gotta say..." Vex silenced, his eyes darting back towards Apocalypse in response to Chase's unwavering grin...
All he was able to see, were glistening red runes...
BOOM!
Chase dashed out of the spell, twisting his body and kicking the side of Vex's staggered stomach...
S-SLAM!
Two consecutive strikes, but of course Vex blocked the important one... Holding Chase's leg in place just a foot from reaching its mark...
Chase wore wide eyes...
Before grinning as he twisted his body, laughing as the back of his opposite foot struck Vex in the face... Freeing him from the grip, but before even being able to land... Chase dashed forth with two bursts of flames...
Vex grinned back, grabbing Chase out of the air and turning him to the ground with immense momentum...
'Huh?' Suddenly Vex was falling... As the disgusting filth from the underworld radiated Vex's senses...
"Interesting..." He thought, rocketing towards Chase within the confines of hell... Grabbing him by the ankle just before he could flee into another gateway.
Chase scowled, having no choice but to bring Vex with him as they left the portal, landing with several exchanges... Apocalypse dancing against the clashes of Vex and his unbreakable weaponry...
From behind... Hans launched an attack, forcing Vex onto his backfoot, as Poppy appeared in a flash, spinning and twisting her spear before hurling it towards Vex's head...
He grabbed the spear, throwing it straight at Hans who planned to follow up his attack, just as Chase attacked from behind.
CLANG!
Vex parried the attack, kicking Chase's knee in and sending his elbow into his jaw.
Chase could only try to block, being forced under this terrible barrage of attacks...
Meanwhile, Poppy grabbed at Vex from behind, getting thrown aside as Hans caught Vex in the sinking ground.
Chase turned, slashing at Vex who parried and launched an arc of energy at Chase's throat...
He blocked...
Barely...
The corner of his face rushed with blood, and his vision blurred...
'Wait...'
He thought...
...
Hans leaped at Vex's trapped position, missing a strike as Vex vanished from his position.
Poppy dodged, rolling to the side as Vex struck the ground, only for Hans to attack from behind, his fist leaving a trail of rock that staggered Vex's attempt to clash.
Poppy shoulder checked Vex, in a desperate attempt to stall...
He laughed, grabbing Hans by the face and throwing him at Poppy.
The two rolled and hurled through the air, nearly falling off a ledge before crashing into a wall made by Hans...
"Get Chase and get out of here..." Hans growled, already charging towards Vex in the storm of flames...
"Hell no! What?!"
Poppy growled, charging in behind and grabbing her spear off of the ground as she sprinted, trying to catch up to The Panda...
But it was then... That great confusion met the battlefield...

Chase grimaced as his allies went flying, and so he turned to a slide attacking Vex's legs as he simply drove his sword into the ground, and intercepting Chase's attack with a hand-numbing clash.
Chase had no choice but to let go of the weapon... Coming to a stop, and for a split moment...
Chase had entered Vex's mind...
His eyes twisted violently... Anger flaring up behind Vex's menacing laugh...
"You didn't see anything... Nice attempt though..." Vex grinned... His glance briefly meeting one of the lingering gateways left to slowly dissipate...
Chase grinned.
Summoning a gateway behind him... The biggest he had every formed... Nearly four times the size of himself...
A chuckle left his lips...
"I've got it..."
Vex's eyes widened... Watching as a fierce energy began to radiate from the gateway...
