I walked a short distance from the house, pulled out my phone, and called Jayden.
"Come pick me up."
It was already 8 p.m. Ten minutes later, the car pulled up. Jayden was driving, Claire sat in the passenger seat, and Yelena lounged in the back. I climbed in, and we headed home together.
When we stepped into the house, Kasumi, Tomiko, Yuko, and the others were already waiting in the living room. Something about their expressions looked unusually bright—almost excited—though a few of them still carried faint blushes from whatever conversation they had been having before we arrived.
Dinner passed in a warm, lively atmosphere. Once the plates were cleared, Haruna stood up with a sly little smile that immediately put everyone on alert.
"Jack… I have prepared a game for you."
I raised an eyebrow, leaning back on the sofa.
"What game?"
"It's a guessing game."
"What do I need to guess? And if I guess correctly… is there a reward?"
