The Double X battery generator shakes greatly for a while, Isa hides behind Nytri despite being bigger than her. The shaking reaches a state of equilibrium to the ground, it doesn't stop shaking but it's as if it's not. Nytri nods approvingly, "It's working well, though a wobbly start."
Isa gets up from behind Nytri excited, "Great! Now all that's left is the startup energy and it'll start pumping batteries!" Isa notices Nytri's worried look, "Mum, what's wrong?" Nytri looks at Isa, "We built the machine but I worry that it was built by us. The things we make are normally for Azurians and generally unsafe for the average human." Isa smiles, "Then we'll use the average energy of a human as the startup energy."
Nytri's smiles, "You're right." Then she asks a question that would disturb any bad person on earth, "Do we have any bandit pigs we can use for the experiment?" Isa sighs shaking her head, "No, we ran out of them trying to make them into Calamities." Nytri squints her mouth, "Right, I'll inform King to catch more bandit pigs for further experiments. As for this, let's get a volunteer from Cathgul researchers." Isa nods, they leave and bring a Cathgul researcher over and he inserts his energy into the machine.
The Cathgul researcher still doesn't know why he had to do it so he asks, "Was it really necessary for me to just throw a fireball at it? Couldn't you have done it?" Isa smiles wryly rubbing her head, "We have different definitions of fireball." The researcher shrugs and goes back to his station unaware of what would happen if any of the 2 or any Azurian had used their energy.
The generator absorbs the energy and it starts working. The energy fills tubes in the machine and the sheets clash and spread making a sphere with a small packet in it. A needle pump pierces the sphere and fill it with energy, followed by others. The energy clashes in the sphere becoming chaotic, then the sheets clash again making a layer around the sphere. A second needle pump pierces the sphere and fills it with another element of energy and the sheets clash making another layer.
The energy becomes so chaotic that the sphere breaks with the first layer remaining the second layer. Another layer is made and more energy is added making the sphere bigger and heavier than planned. However it was still going according to plan. Many holes were pierced in the sphere causing the energy to leak then tubes are inserted through the holes acting as valves.
The Double X battery which was planned to be the size of a basket ball is now half the size of a long truck after 10 hours. The inside of the Double X Battery looks so dangerous it's like a Terror is residing in it due to chaotic energy.
Isa turns to look at Nytri, "Question, let's say we fix this to a ship and during battle the Double X Battery is shot by the enemy. How big an explosion would it be?" Nytri rubs her chin in thought, "The explosion would be big but it's range would be about half the ship depending on the type of ship. The chaos inside is pretty dense so it's not on a cataclysmic level. Not enough to scratch an Azurian, but humans....that's another thing."
Isa reaches out and picks the Double X battery with one hand, "Oh right. Mum, we might need to build another machine to transport it and some handles also, it is pretty heavy." Nytri watches Isa lift it with one hand and her thoughts, "Isa is in the top 10 strongest leaderboard, if she says it's heavy then there's no doubt about it. We'll have to make it lighter...maybe Electromagnetism might help."
The Double X battery generator starts work on another one. Isa and Nytri transport the first one to a battleship. Nytri's clones got word of the idea so most are here, about 20. Nytri's clones have started redesigning the interior of the battleship to use the Double X Battery. Isa sees more Nytri here and she couldn't help but smile widely. Nytri's clones made a hatch on the side of the battleship and they carefully moved the battery through a corridor to the engine room which is eerily silent.
They install the Double X battery and wait for a while so the chaos energy stabilizes a bit because the battery kept shaking with each step they took. After 2 hours, Isa and Nytri enter the bridge and start the battleship. Nytri's clones are in the engine room incase things go sideways. The ship hums to life with an enormous energy that nearly tilted the ship to crash, however they balanced it.
They keep the battleship running for a couple of ours and it runs out of fuel according to the fuel gauge but it refills instantly. Isa stares at it, "Okay, we're gonna have to change this with something else." They complete the ship solving the fuel problem, they cheer for a while before going to work on the second ship.
Johanne, an Azurian researcher came over and saw what was going on. She goes to Nytri, "Hi mum, what're you working on?" Nytri smiles replying, "We just solved the fuel issue, now it can run forever, probably." Johanne smiles brightly, "That's amazing!" Isa has a smug grin and Johanne speaks, "It's so great that the bonehead was able to help mum with this." Isa's voice in the background, "Oi!" and Johanne speaks, "I would've solved this a lot faster."
Nytri chuckles, "Alright, there's no need to bicker you 2. You had your hands full with other stuff." Johanne smiles, "Oh that, we just designed the suits to be used in space. It can resist the void and gives a little boost to those not Calamities yet." Nytri smiles and floats to pat her head, "Good job Johanne." Isa gets teary and stands beside Johanne. Nytri smiles and pats her head too, "You did great Isa." Isa beams with joy and Nytri speaks, "This point forward is going to be tough. Gather everyone for a brief discussion."
Johanne nods and flies away, in 5 mins all the researches in the facility are before Nytri and Isa. Nytri speaks to them all, "Alright everyone, we've made great progress." They all smile, and Nytri continues, "But it's not enough, compared to what our enemies have we're nowhere. What we lack is time and that's what I plan on making." Nytri transmits her plans into the Nexusphere and they all access it learning of the plan and sharing it with Cathgul. Nytri speaks, "I plan on increasing the speed of everyone here so we can speed up on research and development."
An Azurian speaks, "Princess, so like a day outside would be a year here?" Nytri shakes her head, "A day outside would be 100,000 years in here." Most of them gasps and a Cathgul researcher speaks, "That's impossible, most of us won't survive that kind of speeds!" An Azurian speaks, "True, I'm not even at Demi-god rank!"
Johanne speaks, "Then we can split the job. The Calamity ranks amongst us can handle high priority production and research in the main room while the stuff with lower priority can be done in the other rooms." Isa agrees with her, "Johanne is right, what we need now are weapons and battleships. We can focus solely on these 2 and mass produce them as fast as we can."
An Azurian speaks up, "What about the people to man the spaceship and use the weapons? There's a limit to how much constructs we can make, plus it's better to have a living person aboard each one for unexpected situations." Another Azurian speaks, "Even with constructs, there's a limit to how much everyone can make and control. If we make too many of them, the excess just fails and stops working."
Nytri rubs her chin, "This is indeed a problem." A Cathgul researcher speaks, "There's just not enough people to man the spaceships and weapons. What about undead?" Nytri shakes her head, "That won't do. Undead may help but it's still not enough, plus they start degrading once the connection with the maker is severed. Not ideal for such a war."
The Cathgul researcher was about to speak but Isa raises a hand and speaks, "We can't use those already dead because their souls have already Departed to the land of the dead. The undead we make from them would be unintelligent and it takes a lot of time and forced evolution to make intelligent ones." The Cathgul researcher sighs.
Then another Cathgul researcher speaks up, "Why don't we increase the population?" They turn to look at her and an Azurian speaks, "That's the best idea but we don't have the time or luxury to raise them till they can handle warfare. Besides, no one wants to bring their kids into a world filled with war."
The same researcher speaks, "Then how about clones?" They turn to look at Nytri and Nytri speaks, "I tried making clones of other beings in the Monster Realm. They either went insane or mutated. Humans can't undergo such extreme cloning. Not to mention, they cease being humans the first time, souls can't be cloned. They just become empty flesh with no desire or thought. The bodies decompose shortly afterwards."
An Azurian speaks, "For now let's focus on what we can do." Nytri nods, "Yes, we'll split into 2 teams. The first team will work externally on anything besides battleships and weapons, and the second team will focus on battleships and weapons. Are we clear on that?" they all agree.
Those capable of withstanding their speed being increased to an extreme level remain while those who can't step further back. The effect is limited to most part of the room but some parts are left for those outside to move around the room, so like they moving that fast in that space. The Azurians draw a sphere to show the range of the effect so Nytri limits it to that and not beyond it.
