275. WHEN THE WORLD FEARED NYTRI
Over the horizon, a vast army approaches. Bearing banners of many cities and lords marching towards the Dragon Calamity. Amongst them are 'holy' relics known to have destroyed cities and nations, Legendary adventurers many powerful Adamantine adventurers walks amongst the approaching army.
The army sets up far from the dragon and start using their 'holy' relics. The most powerful of their relics bestowed to them by their deities (Before Nytri accidentally destroyed 60% or more of the divine realm which the mortal realm doesn't know yet). On looking like a priest holds a staff with immense power. Behind him are rows of people reaching 1000s wearing masks on their faces like a cult.
The 1000s of cult looking people have their energy siphoned into the staff in the priests hand. A huge blue orb appears above the priest gaining mass and weight, even distorting the space around them. The 1000s of cult looking people start dropping onto the floor like flies dying. The people of other nations see the cruelty in it but do not have the power to say anything. The Dragon Calamity that attacked the world 1000s of years ago is right before them and if they fail to kill it, they will die...(That is what they believe)
Meanwhile, at Nytri and Browny, they notice the army in the distance. Browny turns to Nytri, "What are they doing?" Nytri rubs his chin, "I don't know, one seems to have some energy orb floating above him. They're so far away, I can't tell what their intentions are." Nytri shrugs, "Oh well, I've recovered enough energy to help you get home. I was hoping other Me's could help but they're occupied so it'll take a while to reach home. Are you okay with that." Browny nods smiling, "Of course, you've helped me so much already."
At the army preparing to attack, they finally attack. The energy blue orb has grown so massive it looks like city above them. The priest wielding the staff swings the staff at Browny far in the distance and the orb shoots towards him. When Browny feels the orb coming towards him, he quickly turns to look at the army because he sensed the energy spike. The orb the size of a city reached Browny's side which is like a human holding a basketball on his side. *BOOOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!!!!*
A massive explosion so huge smashed into Browny creating a massive shockwave that reached the army in the distance and some of them were even taken off the ground by the shockwave. The army regroups recovering from the shockwave, gazing at the explosion site with hope of killing the Dragon Calamity.
In the midst of the huge dust clouds in the center, a massive tail swipes inside completely blowing all the dust clouds away. Browny was unfazed, he looks at the side he got hit, "That was cold and then warm. I thought they threw water at me but….that was definitely an attack."
Nytri is hovering in the sky beside Browny, if not for the dust clouds and shockwave, she wouldn't have noticed they were attacked. Nytri turns looking at Browny and the ground that has caved in from the explosion, "Yeah, looks like we really were attacked."
Browny looks at Nytri, "What do we do?" Nytri gazes at the army, "Let's go and talk to them? I'm sure after explaining everything will settle down."
The army seeing Browny unfazed, terror fills their heart. But then someone shouts across them giving them some stupid courage and they charge at Browny. Nytri knowing what this means flies at full speed to the army and stops abruptly over them and the shockwave from her stops their charge.
Nytri uses magic to project her voice across the army, "Stand down, do not attack or you will all perish." Seeing that the army have stopped, she starts speaking, "My name is Nytri Elnora Alcore, Crown Princess of Azuria Empire. Desist from this futile attack."
A man who seems to be the leader shouts towards Nytri, "THAT IS THE DRAGON CALAMITY. AN ANCIENT EVIL PROPHESIZED TO DESTROY OUR WORLD. WE WILL NEVER SURRENDER!!!" Nytri tilts her head confused and her thoughts, "What ancient evil? Crimson Dragons are friendly."
At this moment, Browny lands behind Nytri, his massive form casting a huge shadow over the army. Nytri raises a hand towards Browny to not let him come closer so to not scare the people. But a soldier screams, "IMPOSSIBLE, SHE'S CONTROLLING THE ANCIENT EVIL!!!" And another shouts, "SHE'S A MONSTER!" others keep screaming.
Nytri turns to them projecting her voice to all of them, "Huh? A monster? I am not." Nytri looks at Browny and her thoughts, "Right, he said he thinks they're attacking. I have to clear that confusion." She speaks to the army again, "Lay down your weapons and return to your homes." Nytri's thoughts, "Good, that should show Browny that these people have no intention to fight.
Browny was bored by the whole situation. A man on his horse shouts from the army to the army, "WE WILL NOT SURRENDER! WE WILL FIGHT FOR OUR LANDS, OUR FAMILY, FOR OUR LIVES!" Browny opens his mouth and yawns *YAAAAWWWWWNNNN!* Which sounded like a roar to the army.
The horses, tamed beasts and monsters in the army became afraid and started fleeing. The man on the horse fell, the army fell in disarray due to the horses scrambling and hitting soldiers. Nytri looks at Browny with an exasperated expression then looks at the army scrambling. She shrugs talking to Browny, "Oh well, let's just get out of here before this escalates further."
Nytri flies onto Browny's head pointing to the sky, "Let's fly." Nytri and Browny take to the sky. However, when Browny flapped his wings, the soldiers charging at him we blown far away and most died. The army fell into despair as they watched The Dragon Calamity fly away.

Back to when the army fired their first attack at the Dragon Calamity. The commanders rallied them to charge the Dragon Calamity, "Everyone! The Dragon Calamity still stands! To war!" the army charges. I (The commander) ride my horse charging at the The Dragon Calamity in the distance. Then a shockwave hits us completely stopping the army, "What was that? Did it attack?!"
A soldier points to the sky, "LOOK!" I look up at the sky to see a winged human in the sky who's wings looks to be made of metal unmoving in the sky. This person looks down at us and her voice is heard in my ears. A dominating voice making my knees tremble and my heart pound in my chest speaks, "Stand down, do not attack or you will all perish."
My thoughts, "What? Who is this? Is she here to help us fight the Dragon Calamity?" and she speaks again, "My name is Nytri Elnora Alcore, Crown Princess of Azuria Empire. Desist from this futile attack." Her words shock me and I blurt out, "Azuria? Azuria is here to help us!"
I was elated so I pointed at the fiend known as the Dragon Calamity, however, before I could speak, lord Stonefield replied, "THAT IS THE DRAGON CALAMITY. AN ANCIENT EVIL PROPHESIZED TO DESTROY OUR WORLD. WE WILL NEVER SURRENDER!!!"
I was confused and my thoughts, "Why would he say that to the Crown Princess of Azuria?" But I noticed how she has her back turned to the Dragon Calamity and facing us, "She's not here to join us?" The massive Dragon Calamity lands before us as if under her control, "She's controlling it. IMPOSSIBLE, SHE'S CONTROLLING THE ANCIENT EVIL!!!" I feel my chest tighten at the sight before me.
A soldier beside me falls on his butt in horror, "SHE'S A MONSTER!" I hear another, "MONSTER!" and another on the ground screaming in despair, "STAY AWAY!" and he gets up to run.
The Crown Princess of Azuria speaks again, "Huh? A monster? I am not." I'm stricken with fear I murmur, "Of course not, you're something worse. To control the Dragon Calamity, you can destroy everything." I grit my teeth as memories of my family flash before my eyes, my son, my daughter, my wife, my father and mother. I determine in my heart to stand against her no matter what.
"Lay down your weapons," The Crown Princess speaks, "and return to your homes." My thoughts, "She wants us to surrender, return home and wait for our death?" Filled with rage, I shout to her, "WE WILL NOT SURRENDER! WE WILL FIGHT FOR OUR LANDS, OUR FAMILY, FOR OUR LIVES!" I ready my horse to charge at her, "I will not let you destroy my home!" I turn to my army, "Mages, ready your spells! Kill t-"
The Dragon Calamity roars making my body shake and I fall off my horse. I try to rein it in but it's gone crazy and I can see the fear in its heart. My horse scrambles and runs away from me. As I watch it run, I see the monsters we tamed fleeing, the adventurer tamers losing control of their beasts. Even my men are abandoning the fight. I see only chaos before me.
I pick up my sword and turn to face the Dragon Calamity, "I WILL SLAY YOU EVEN IF I HAVE TO GIVE MY LIFE!" I charge at the Dragon Calamity. I saw the Crown Princess of Azuria fly to the head of the Dragon Calamity, "Seated on the Dragon Calamity…You may look down on us. BUT WE WILL NEVER SURRENDER!" I see some of my men following me to fight. I see other lords leading their men as some fled.
But before I could get close, the Dragon Calamity flapped its wings. A powerful hurricane erupted from beneath its wings. The next thing I know, I was in the sky. Then I hit the ground. I can't feel my legs, I can't feel my arms, I can't feel anything. "I'm sorry, everyone. I failed to defeat the Dragon Calamity....." I breathe my last,
