The first time they met was at a blacksmith competition where Fjorge was a participant, and Meiko had escorted a friend, who was also a blacksmith, to the event.
She had fewer friends back then, so for her to leave her homeworld and travel several light-years to such an event shows how dedicated she was to that friend.
But one might ask: did she come because of her friend, or because of someone else?
Fjorge kept sensing a chilling gaze on him every now and then during the competition, but whenever he tried to locate its source, he came up empty.
It was a frustrating period for him since he could sense the deadly intent behind those eyes.
Eventually, however, he managed to locate where the intense glare was coming from.
Until that very day, Fjorge had never met or heard of Meiko. However, she had, and in fact, she had gathered so much information about him that one could only wonder why she would do such a thing.
