"What are you doing?" Shen Huiran stared at Ye Xingyan. "I said I would let you go, but I didn't say you could take your things. When Ye Yao left your mom's house back then, she didn't take anything."
Ye Xingyan gritted her teeth, "But those are things I've used. There's no point for you to keep them."
Shen Huiran laughed scornfully, "Why wouldn't there be any point? Donating them would be good deeds."
Ye Xingyan was reluctant to part with her branded bags, clothes, shoes, and jewelry, but today Shen Huiran clearly wouldn't let her take them. Knowing this, she should have taken them earlier.
"Let's go, modify the household registration now. Just as you wish, return to your biological mother's side, but don't come back to us if anything happens in the future."
Shen Huiran held a grudge against having to give up her belongings. She retaliated bitterly, "What is there now worth coming back for, Mom?"
Shen Huiran sneered, "Remember what you said today."
