Chapter 953 - The Strongest Can Still Die

The homeland of us Writers was not an ordinary place.

It wasn't a city.

It wasn't a country.

It wasn't even a continent.

It was an entire world of its own, completely isolating us from the other creatures inhabiting the Aether World.

The place resembled outer space, filled with enormous platforms, buildings, roads connecting them together, and towers rising through countless floors.

Every platform glowed differently, almost like a brilliant star suspended within the darkness.

It was breathtakingly beautiful.

During those quiet moments, standing beside my mother as I looked over the place I called home, I found a strange mixture of emotions slowly spreading through my chest.

I glanced toward her face.

My mother was still the same as ever.

Calm. Elegant.

And surrounded by that naturally superior presence that made anyone standing before her instinctively feel as though she existed somewhere above them.

Her eyes were what drew the most attention.
