VALYHA
Valyha sat on her table as a maiden held a mirror illuminating her face. Her eyes were focused on the deep pink jewel on her pinky finger.
"Your people's jewels are unmatched with anything from Earth." Valyha then held the ring to her face smiling. "It shimmers better on me don't you think?"
"Yes, your highness," Hiriah faked a smile. She could feel the gazes of people on her mistress after the stunt she pulled with the low Qira.
Valyha raised her head high, as she sank into her chair enjoying the music. Maybe life here wouldn't be so bad. Servants, four square feasts a day, beautiful dresses and gems with sparkles greater than any she ever known. Of course there were cons being that she was restricted from leaving her castles and she was living among her kind's worst enemies. But, if she was going to be trapped in a prison, it might as well be one with comfort.
If you think of the experience as a vacation away from governing work, well any form of work. It's suddenly very great!
Her life of luxury here could not be said to be on par with the one on Earth. No standing army, no beheadings, no freedom! However, the designers and stylists, with a castle filled with obedient servants, alongside new advanced magi-tech… will do. Being an Emperor's brides was not too bad. Especially one whose countries was far advanced, and powerful than your own. So much to learn and steal.
"What you did was wrong. Apologize," A soft feminine voice spoke out.
Valhya lifted her head to see a woman in front of her table with ferocious eyes. She was stunning. With brown eyes and black hair flowing over her shoulders, dressed in gold garments, gold jewelry on her forehead.
This woman was simply not bad.
Valyha gave a small nod and turned back to looking at her big shiny ring.
Salvyiti frowned in confusion, Valyha just ignored her.
"You need to apologize." Simply said.
Valyha looked back up calmly, completely unbothered. "Are you talking to me?" After coming to terms with being trapped in this place. She felt at peace. Even considering meditation after.
"Who else?" Salvyiti answered coldly
"Look, who are you?" Valeriah asked genuinely surprised by the venom in this woman's voice.
"I am queen Salvyiti from the house of Ikerr and Niqita."
"Alright, Salvyiti." Valyah's said. "Get out of my face."
"I expected nothing more. How could you be cruel to another bride?"
"Cruel to who?" Valyha simply couldn't believe she had been great already.
"Women like you make me angry." Her eyes darkened moving closer, wide hips swaying as the hem of her golden embroider skirt swept the floor. Gorgeous.
Valyha couldn't help but catch that.
"Alright, first of all, that skirt is something I would wear. Second of all, you're welcome, that's a compliment," Valhya said.
Salvyiti blinked. "What?!" She wasn't even sure if she understood Valyha's words. How did she change the subject? "You broke the law against violence. You must go to her table and beg for forgiveness."
Salvyiti's finger pointed straight in the direction of Roriana.
Roriana responded from where she was with a pale look. She felt like hiding under the table. Valyha turned to look right at her.
Valyha asked, "who is that?"
"You do not even know your own co-wives. It does not matter if you know her or not. You have to apologize for what you did, it's the right thing to do." Salvyiti said as her tone softened. Perhaps this was all a misunderstanding.
Valya shrugged in pure confusion. "Apologize for what?"
"You pushed her to the ground. Everyone saw it," Salvyiti explained. "Look if you apologize to Roriana, everyone will take it as an accident. You will face no repercussions for your actions today."
Valyha eyes grew. When did she do that? But pushing someone sounds like what she would do. Wow, she impresses herself sometimes. "Who is Roriana?"
Salvyiti's eyes widened. "The girl I pointed to!" Was Valyha slow?
"The one with the pretty green eyes?"
"Yes."
"Let me see," Valyha brought out her pink framed glasses and put in on, narrowing her eyes. "oh! Green is quite her color, I'm impressed! Too little jewelry though, light make up. Ugly hairstyles. But, fine, nails!"
"I asked you to apologize to her not analyze her," Salvyiti resisted the urge to slap her own face.
Truly Queen Valyha was as dull as the maid gossips say.
"Wait, who are you again?" Valyha was lost.
"Salvyiti, from the house of-" Salvyiti said in frustration.
"So what are you still doing here?"
"I won't leave, until you apologize to her for what you did," Salvyiti said, bravely not standing down.
"Exactly. What did I do to her?"
"You pushed her,"
"Who?"
"Her!" Salvyiti said it felt as if she was going in circles.
Rori became tensed. However Salvyiti gave her a reassuring gaze which warms Rori's heart. Was she really defending her?
Valyha glanced towards the direction of the short haired "I pushed her so what. Did she tell you that she was bothered?"
"She is bothered."
Evere and Aijah watched the scene in amusement.
"What a martyr young ma'am. Why didn't she come by herself to complain?" Valyha eyes darkened. "Very well then. Watch me apologize."
