Yu Xin carried Anning into the bathroom.
Anning nestled in Yu Xin's arms, acting pitifully, and showed Yu Xin the blood on her paw.
The blood was actually from Anning rubbing against something outside, but it looked like it was flowing from an injury, which made Yu Xin's heart ache.
"Our Dingding has been wronged, sister will kiss it better, no crying."
Yu Xin kissed Anning, and then took the usual basin to fill it with warm water, speaking to Anning in a negotiating tone: "Sister will wrap your little paw nicely, then we can bathe, alright? Dingding, don't be scared, sister will be very careful."
Anning meowed a couple of times, seemingly responding to Yu Xin.
Yu Xin laughed, wrapped Anning's bloody paw with a plastic bag, and then carefully bathed her.
After the bath, she took a hair dryer to dry Anning's fur.
When she carried Anning out, Fang Zeyang had just ordered takeout.
