The priest closed the Holy Scripture. It's Sunday, and there are still quite a few people in the church, all of whom are residents living nearby.
Although some believers had slight grievances about the priest wearing tinted sunglasses to lead the Sunday activities, there isn't a part in the Holy Scripture that tells us wearing glasses is a desecration of God or forbidden.
Besides, priests wearing prescription glasses are not unheard of among the clergy, and there are quite a few.
Previously, many clergy members read scriptures under dim candlelight, causing many of their eyes to not be in great condition.
Can they wear prescription glasses without issue, yet this priest can't just change the tint of the lenses?
He picked up the Holy Scripture and prepared to leave, but a couple approached, "Father..."
The priest stopped and turned around to face the young couple, "How may I assist you?"
The young couple whispered, "I don't know how to say this."
