"Lance, I heard your movie made a lot of money, right?"
At the dining table, Arthur asked Lance a question.
Mayor Williams glared at him, "Do you think you're being polite?"
"Asking Lance a question like that?"
It's extremely impolite to ask others about personal matters like income.
If Lance were just a minor character, asking wouldn't matter; after all, small people never have dignity or character.
But Lance is no small character, Mayor Williams turned to Lance, "Just ignore him."
Lance was actually happy to answer the question. He first said to Mayor Williams, "No problem," and then nodded and said, "You could say so, yes."
"After deducting all various costs, I made over two million from this film and even won an award."
Last year's Grand Jury Prize was awarded to "Sneak Attack on Golden Port," undisputedly first, whether in terms of artistry, narrative, or some new technology used in the film.
