"Mr. President, it's bad. The warehouse is on fire, and it seems the production plant is also on fire!"
The sudden explosion sound from the receiver made Richard's hair stand on end. Startled, his sleep vanished without a trace, and he jumped up, "You better not be joking with me!"
He actually knew this wasn't a joke, but he hoped the other party would tell him it was just a prank.
Aside from heavy breathing and faint screams, the silent receiver offered no answer.
He cursed, "Fack!"
"How did the fire start? Did you call the fire department?"
"We already did, but they said they need time to assemble."
"Damn these bastards, Fack!"
"I'm coming over right now, inform the other board members!"
He casually put on a jacket, wearing his pajama pants, and headed downstairs.
Two bodyguards were chatting on the edge of the sofa; they stood up as soon as they saw Mr. Richard.
Mr. Richard nodded slightly, "I'm going to the factory, you come with me."
