Ye Fan asked the woman, "Why is your breakthrough speed so astonishing?" In his view, she was merely a low-level vampire; it should have been impossible for her to have such a terrifying rate of growth.
The woman retorted, "Are you afraid?"
"Me, afraid? Are you joking?" Ye Fan scoffed. "There's no one in this world I fear, let alone you. Besides, even if your growth rate is fast, you're no match for me!
"Now, let's go," he commanded. "Take me to the vampire headquarters, and I'll spare your life."
The woman asked, "What do you want at the headquarters?"
"To save people, of course," Ye Fan snapped. "The major Vampire Princes are offering sacrifices to please the Bloodline Ancestor. Fortunately, she hasn't emerged from her seclusion yet, or she would unleash a terrible massacre. I have to rescue my women before that happens!"
