The next day, Ye Fan went to the Heavenly King Hall because Tian Can had been attacked and injured.
"Who did it?" Ye Fan asked, his heart filled with a burning rage.
Tian Can replied weakly, "Chief, it was Biyan Pavilion."
"Biyan Pavilion? They have some nerve. Tell me exactly what happened."
"Chief, expelling Biyan Pavilion from the Divine Land is a major affair," Tian Can continued, his voice frail. "I was afraid my subordinates would botch the task, so I went myself. But before I could even hand them the expulsion notice, they attacked me. They said they don't welcome dogs from the Heavenly King Hall!"
Though the words were harsh, Tian Can repeated them verbatim.
"Such audacity," Ye Fan said coldly. "For daring to say that alone, I will not spare them. Give me the expulsion notice. I'd like to see if those running dogs of the European Pope dare to strike me."
Tian Can handed the notice to Ye Fan.
