Zhou Wang was purely on a trip, taking the opportunity to breathe some fresh outdoor air.
There's no surprise or disappointment to speak of; a temple is just like a temple. For Zhou Wang, it's just a matter of feeling the refreshing and natural thousand-year-old Zen in the ancient buildings with red walls and black tiles.
Ding Yi, on the other hand, was there to help her mother fulfill a vow.
Throughout Ding Yi's upbringing, her parents took her to many places due to job changes, and Qin Island was one of the stops. Back then, her mother, Nie Xiaoyun, came here to burn incense. When she found out Ding Yi was going to Qin Island, she specifically told her to repay the vow on her behalf.
Because of this, Zhou Wang also met the abbot of Nanputuo Temple.
