On the temporary platform in the center of the auditorium, a man in his sixties stood before the microphone, beaming as he was accompanied by several middle-aged men. He smiled warmly, surveying the crowd of new students before speaking.
"Welcome to Jinling University! I am Luo Rongfa, the president of Jinling University, and I am delighted that you chose us! While welcoming you all, I would also like to express my gratitude. As soon as Luo Rongfa finished speaking, a thunderous, spontaneous applause erupted from the freshmen, no prompting needed from the university staff.
