Time ticked into the early hours of the morning. The entire Jinling University had fallen into a deathly silence. With the older students still on break and the freshmen exhausted from a day of intense training, everyone was long asleep.
Outside the several-meter-high campus walls, a figure in black appeared at its base, having avoided all surveillance cameras. The figure lifted a head that revealed only a pair of eyes and gauged the height of the wall, quickly discarding the idea of vaulting over it. Instead, they took a thin nylon rope from a pocket and threw it upward.
CLANG!
The sharp iron hook at the end caught the top of the wall perfectly. Hearing the faint sound, the figure didn't hesitate, swiftly and adeptly climbing the rope.
