Celine and her escort passed through the huge, intricately carved wooden gate of the Elven border town.
Once inside, Celine couldn't help but let out a soft gasp of wonder.
The town was nestled beneath the sprawling canopy of ancient trees, their branches forming natural arches overhead, dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves and casting gentle patterns on the ground below.
Shops and stalls were set up in the open spaces beneath the trees, their wares displayed on polished wooden tables, Elves moved gracefully through the streets, their movements fluid and serene, their voices soft and melodic as they chatted, laughed, and went about their daily lives.
Celine's eyes sparkled with excitement, her princess-like composure slipping for a moment as she took in the breathtaking scenery.
