Javier walked away from the public restroom, patting his stomach with a relieved sigh.
"Ahhh~ man… now I feel relieved."
He shook his head, still rubbing his belly.
But damn, I nearly pooped my pants. If that had happened, I'm sure Buddy wouldn't let me anywhere near him, let alone ride him.
He walked casually, glancing around in his beggar disguise, watching the elven children running and laughing as they played between the stalls and the road.
"Heh~" A soft smile spread across his face as he took in the peaceful scene.
This is nice. This is how it should be. Peaceful mornings, kids playing, people going about their lives without fear, shared knowledge, economy, and trade flowing smoothly between allies.
He slowed his pace, his eyes soft as he watched a group of children chase each other around the market stalls.
