Byron came in hot, pushing the door open, his black eyes blazing. Cass was right in assuming that his Mom went with him as she trailed in behind him, just as upset as he was.
"You were right. Not only was it disturbed, they were completely gone. They were clearly picked up, the gardens were messed up, the house was askew and Mom found so many partial traces that we couldn't pinpoint a single creature." His eyes scanned over the group before settling on Cass.
Cass could feel the anger coming off of him in waves, his hands clenched at his sides and his body shaking slightly. It only shifted when Sam came to his side, taking his hand in his and giving it a gentle squeeze. Byron closed his eyes, took a steadying breath, and then opened them again.
"That's not good." Taniora commented, and Byron gave a snort but didn't respond beyond that. Edgar glanced between everyone who seemed to be in the know and his face scrunched up further.
