Lucian came back before the dusk had truly started to set. Cass didn't need to ask if it was him, a knowing in his core turning to look towards the window before the bellow even rang out.
"How are you able to do that?" Edgar finally asked, curious, and Cass gave him a confused look from his desk.
"What do you mean?" He asked, meeting Edgar's curious blue gaze. Edgar shifted on the couch, resting his arm on the back of it as he turned his body until his legs were up on the couch near the armrest, his knee digging into the back cushions, and his other hand was firmly planted on the armrest.
"Well, you've done that a couple of times. You've been able to sense Lucy from miles away and I've never been able to catch it. How do you do it?" He asked. Cass blinked, staring at the other man in confusion. He glanced down at his work, putting the pen to the side so he didn't stain anything he was working on as he spoke to him.
