I could feel the way her body trembled slightly against me, the way her breath caught in her throat.
The living crystal bed beneath her began to shift colors, the soft blue and gold melting into deep, seductive shades of pink and red, reacting to the rising emotions in the room.
"Hugh~" Seraphiel let out a tiny, breathless sound against my lips, almost a whimper.
She kissed me back shyly at first, then with growing need, her hands sliding up to clutch at my coat.
When I finally pulled back just enough to look at her, her face was flushed, her lips slightly parted, and her mismatched eyes were dazed and glossy with emotion.
The bed beneath us had turned a rich, intimate crimson and soft rose, glowing warmly as if the room itself was blushing along with her.
Seraphiel's wings finally fluttered weakly before settling again. She looked up at me, voice barely a whisper.
"My Lord… Aestrea…" she breathed, still holding onto me as I might vanish.
