"There are humans hiding here!"
A thunderous voice rang out from the battlefield.
"Kill them!"
The devils had seen them.
Max's expression changed immediately. "Run!" he shouted without hesitation.
The group reacted at once, turning and fleeing as fast as they could. However, moving as a unit slowed them down, and their formation made it difficult to escape quickly.
Behind them, a terrifying presence surged forward.
The devils were already closing in.
Within moments, one of them appeared before the group, cutting off their path.
It was the first time they stood face to face with a true devil.
The creature towered over them, its body massive and grotesque, as though it had been forged from darkness itself. Its skin was a deep, unnatural black, yet faint crimson lines pulsed beneath it like veins filled with molten blood. Its limbs were long and distorted, ending in clawed hands that seemed capable of tearing through space itself.
Its face was even more horrifying.
