Max then turned to look at Selene.
The golden radiance around her was still bright, and the vast image of Heavenly Luminance Genesis had not fully vanished behind her, but anyone with sharp eyes could already see the truth. The sacred palaces of light in her Pseudo Cosmic Path were flickering.
The golden rivers flowing through the radiant domain were breaking apart into unstable fragments. Even the divine sun wheel behind her had become dimmer than before, and the Spear of First Dawn she had unleashed had drained far more of her strength than she wanted others to notice.
Max looked at her calmly.
"I won, right?"
Selene's eyes turned colder.
Max continued before she could answer, his voice spreading clearly across the base of the Witch God Tree. "You are already trembling from the use of your Pseudo Cosmic Path. And as Caroline said, you cannot maintain this form for too long. You are barely holding on."
