Hundreds, thousands, uncountable Ersatz members emerged out of nowhere. They were distinguished through the pallid, emotionless faces they had around their faces.
They were zombies. One that did whatever their leaders asked of them without any hesitation.
But strangely, these Ersatz members did absolutely nothing. One would expect them to start rioting, creating chaos and bloodshed all around New Sparta.
But no. They remained in their places, their countenance blank.
Inside their hearts was a completely different thing entirely. Their Artifices, black, glassy, like a dark iceberg plunged in darkness, were now glowing with an ominous violet light. They were pulsing, each and every single one of them beating at the same time as if they were somehow connected.
And suddenly, a shockwave emanated out of these people.
This shockwave… only those with a high Maugnetic cultivation could sense.
