The festivities in the Sacred Tree continued. For the demi-humans, it was because of the relief of finding themselves safe after all the hardships that they experienced throughout this tumultuous time. After all, they were almost all enslaved by an insidious assassin hiding as their Monarch for the better part of the month.
As for the two Conglomerates, they too celebrated just for simply surviving against the attack. They might not have been able to do what they set out to do when they first started this mission, but at least they gained allies in exchange.
Now that they were allies with the Reborn company, this meant that by extension, they were allies with the demi-humans as well. And that was a privilege that not even the other Conglomerates could say that they have had the opportunity to do so.
Meanwhile, the Rebornian soldiers celebrated for a completely different reason.
They celebrated because they were getting paid!
