The scorching sunlight burned the back; Count Blood felt as if his whole body was about to burst into flames, painfully hot.
Without thinking more, Count Blood dove headfirst into the nearby shadows.
The nearby shadows were not much safer; because of the Enchanting Demon's Black Magic, the walls were riddled with holes, letting sunlight seep through. Count Blood simply rammed into the wall, trying to hide in a room where shadows prevailed.
Unfortunately, the price for being ageless and undead is that vampires are weakened under sunlight.
With Count Blood's current weak body, it was clearly impossible to break through the meticulously crafted wall with one strike. He and the wall had a close encounter, leaving a huge crater on the wall.
