"Is it time?" Althea asked as they retreated from the creature.
"While it's not very promising having to use all our cards in the very first encounter, I guess it had to be done," Muku replied with an unwilling but resolute expression on his face.
What had to be done had to be done.
And so, they all used their trump cards.
As for what that was, it was their belief energy, of course. Even Althea had gotten some over the years. She initially had some from her Beast World subordinates anyway.
With the addition of the belief energy, their already potent(in normal cases) energy was boosted even more.
Unfortunately, they still couldn't overcome the lightning. Well, not completely, but it became harder for it to destroy their attacks. A lot harder, in fact.
And that was enough. It was enough for them to fight back again. And so, with her beast aura empowered by her belief energy as a shield, Althea went back in.
