After a few seconds of stalemate, Zero calmly took a step forward. The pink beam, having reached its limit, was violently shattered into countless specks of light.
Dark Magician Girl, at the end of the beam, was also sent stumbling backward. She flipped through the air several times before finally managing to steady herself.
"Such evil magic power. Even more evil than that false gentleman with the shrill voice!"
As she remarked, the idol, whose outfit was rather revealing, reached up to adjust her slightly crooked magical hat.
The false gentleman with the shrill voice was referring to Jose of Phantom Lord, who also used dark magic like Zero.
"Destroying everything is the true source of power!"
In the brief moment the foolish girl took to fix her appearance, a wave of raging magic power had already reached her, whipping her long blonde hair into a frenzy.
Zero's expression was manic. He was surrounded by a restless dark green aura. Crackling lightning danced around his clenched right fist, overflowing with extremely fierce destructive power.
Dark Magician Girl was startled. She had not expected her opponent to be so fast. With no time to do anything else, she quickly crossed her arms to block.
But the expected impact never came. A Trap Card magic circle lit up beneath her feet, teleporting her to safety, back beside her allies.
A dark golden glow erupted, covering the sky, and collided head-on with the evil presence that had arrived in a flash.
Chains rattled. Chase, having swapped places with Dark Magician Girl, swung the Right Arm of the Forbidden One with force, his fist colliding with Zero's in a display of raw power.
BOOM!!!
The moment their fists met, surging magic power erupted like a volcano, sending shockwaves blasting through the air.
"If I had really wanted to ambush you, you would be lying on the ground right now."
At the heart of the impact, Chase's eyes burned with fighting spirit. While maintaining the power in his right fist, he slowly looked up at Zero and said with a light laugh, "That was just me not wanting to listen to your rambling."
"Heh heh. An arrogant and confident brat. I have not been out and about for a while. When did a man like you appear in the legal guilds?" A similar smirk appeared on Zero's lips.
Between powerful opponents, words were unnecessary. Feeling the fierce power pouring from that golden right arm, he immediately acknowledged Chase's claim. A growing excitement stirred within him. It was the long-missed thrill of destruction.
"There are plenty of changes you do not know about, Master Zero."
With that, Chase's dark blue cape fluttered wildly as he exploded with even greater magic power.
Zero matched him, pouring more of his own power into his right fist.
The delicate balance of the energy clash surrounding them in the air was thus broken. Pushed back by the force of their own attacks, the two men flew backward, landing on the ground and staring each other down from a distance.
After being battered by the storm, the once dense forest had been transformed into a chaotic wasteland.
This shocking scene terrified the dark guild members who had just fled to the area.

"Why would a dead man need to know so much?" Chase cracked his knuckles, responding with disdain.
As he spoke, his coat and cape fell away, signaling that his warm-up was over and he was getting serious.
"Ahahaha! Interesting! Truly interesting! I can hardly contain myself. I want to destroy you..."
"Destruction! Yes, destruction needs no reason. Just reduce everything to nothing!!"
After laughing maniacally, Zero's expression abruptly changed. His blood-red pupils burned with endless desire for destruction.
Driven by this desire, he pressed his palms down and launched the first attack.
"Dark Gravity! "
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The ground shook violently. Starting from the area beneath Zero's feet, the hard yellow earth continuously collapsed, spreading toward Chase at a visible rate.
Chase's eyes narrowed. He stomped heavily, channeling his dark gold magic power into the ground before him to mimic a similar field of gravitational force.
The two collapsing fronts met head-on, crushing each other and sending rock debris flying in all directions.
"Darkness Annihilation! " Zero flicked his wrist, sending out dark green energy bullets. They easily pierced through the rock layer, flying straight toward Chase.
Chase was completely calm. He turned his palm over to reveal a card between his fingers.
CRACKLE!
A black tornado of raging lightning howled out, centered on Chase. It intercepted all of the dark green bullets, causing explosions and fire to fill the sky.
This was the Spell Card Cyclone, which could nullify an opponent's magic!
"Boring tricks. Useless in the face of absolute destruction..."
Zero snorted coldly and leaped into the air. A sickeningly deep green light bloomed from his palm. "Darkness Rondo! "
A giant magic beam, surrounded by red energy, shot forth. Its piercing properties tore violently through the black tornado, aimed straight for Chase at the storm's center.
A Card Magic circle spun. A sturdy shield materialized in front of Chase, splitting the unstoppable Darkness Rondo into two separate streams. They exploded on either side in plumes of fire.
Big Shield Guardna's shield cracked and crumbled under the assault. But Chase, standing behind it, was completely unharmed.
Chase raised his hand and dusted off the remains of the shield. He let out a rather disappointed sigh.
"Weaker than I expected. And you are the master of Oración Seis."
