We safely made it into the sealed cave. We'd been walking for about twenty minutes now, and just as expected, we hadn't encountered the horned girl again. The cave ahead was pitch black, but I had a small light stone lamp prepared well in advance. You can never be too prepared.
Bale led the way out front and we followed close behind. It was one straight, continuous path until it finally got to a section where you'd have to choose a singular path going forward, so we naturally followed the specific one Bale had chosen for us.
"Am I the only one gettin' hungry... could go for some beef righ' about now," said Ms. Murmurae, looking rather unmotivated and sluggish as we strode forward into the dark.
"We'll settle down and eat later, for now, let's focus on this," I replied, keeping my eyes on the path.
"How 'bout the rations at least, haven' ya got any left?"
