After a mostly uneventful remaining day of work, I finally returned to my assigned quarters late at night, where Darla and Ariela were already waiting for me. Ariela had thoughtfully prepared a warm meal and a hot bath, almost like she possessed some psychic sense of when I'd be stepping through the door. It wasn't particularly surprising though; I was well aware of how ridiculously diligent she was with her duties as my personal maid, and she must've grown completely accustomed to my daily schedule by now.
