Chapter 40 - C39 - The Finale Of This Past Hatred

Inside the headquarter of the World Government.

A large number of people had gathered here to vote on the use of space collapsing to the space bubble covering Japan. They had technologies: geo-arming to recover any non-organic materials and the time-acceleration to recover any ecosystem.

"Okay okay, everyone, listen to me!"

The general whose power let him control time spoke up. The sound of his weapon hitting the ground silenced the meeting room. This place had been expanded to accommodate more people than it seemed from the outside but even then the current situation was so packed.

"We can finally conclude that divinity machine has worked its wonder and All For One has reached a critical state where he is perfectly stuck between breaking away from the bound of this world and the being hindered by two heroes and my disciple. Nevertheless, we need to end this war against him right now."

The first to answer was an African man at 2 meters tall who was in blue vest , his quirk allowed for precognition based on current data. The extent of his vision was enough to foresee a year. The reply was not good.

"I know what you are going to push for, but shut up. If we implode the spatial barrier, who know whether or not that villain will blow himself up to cause a reality rupture, a permanent one at that. Beside, if he is on the verge of breaking the chains binding predictability, how are we even sure that sending him a small Big Bang would do the trick? "

A woman took over and provided the proof supporting the general. She was shorter, a ginger Korean whose eye had been ripped out from a fight years ago. The scar on her face was covered with an eye patch but she had ripped it open in agony against such an idiot of a predictor. Her voice readied to spill into a verbal abuse right there and then but she held back.

"It will. Chekov Gun shows me that it can do what we envision it to do. The resource to ensure that is not high enough for you to be yapping about."

"... You bich, I am going to ** you *** *** "

"Try me you filthy n*. Let's see your prediction faces my gun. Maybe this will help you remember what your ancestor saw before being captured."

"STOP BICKERING!"

Two copies of the general aimed their blade, ready to cut down the interference to the meeting. Both sides grumbled before sitting down and removing their holograms from the meeting. Everyone else just stayed silent letting the usual happened before engaging with the meeting.

"As we have heard from those two's mouths. Any doubt about the weapon has been alleviated because of Chekov Gun. The weapon is being prepared but we need to pinpoint the remaining people inside the barrier before teleporting them away to our safehouses nearby. Well, an empty seat means unanimous agreement. We are sending to Korean branch.

But now we need to discuss where to hold the bargain. Speak up your ideas."

"So this is how your end is, All Might?"

All For One had crippled every targets in his line of sight. He had grown bored of faking his strength for baiting All Might to hit him, imparting the mark of divinity inside All Might. Such a wonderous divine power, the power to break through every limits facing the owner. Perfect for me.

"Isn't this what you want to do to me?"

All For One controlled the stumps where All Might's arms should have been and use them to hit himself. Again, again, again, in the hatred radiated through the eyes of the decapacitated hero, All For One let himself be hit by All Might bloodied stumps. The blood smeared across his body, the impact lackluster and feeble. Oh such entertaining time.

"I forget. You can't answer."

All For One dropped the bleeding All Might off to join together with the headless Endeavor and a heartless agent. They were all put into a box All For One created from pure energy, dense enough to breakdown into a blackhole without the villain's opposition force.

"Playtime over. This amount is enough! Witness, your new god!"

The top layer of the skin peeled away as if the villain was merely peeling a tangerine. The muscular system beneath had turned into an ominous wine, a solution moving around and along the bones. The head, pelted like a prey, creaked and bent in every directions along space-time. Everything binding All For One broke under the limit breaker, All Might's imported divinity.

"I Declare Myself The Hero, And You The Villains. For I Always Win."

The command would have bent the order of the world if not for the sudden cut from the outside through the hole. All For One could sense it. Something was approaching, prying into every version of All For One. Edges of the world confined inside the spatial barrier began to crack and fuse into the inner content. The hole from the previous fight had closed under immense control of the approaching object.

This false god of evil tried to hid in the shadows engrained in every will ever existed but he found himself cut from the very control he had painstakingly built. With a roar of wrath, he brought his spear to the sky. The fleshy contraption, newly-connected to the origin of quirks, slowed down the coming pressure but could not reverse it.

"You have a tar soul, sinful one."

Ruptured from his chest was the 'heart' of him, the control over quirks, the source of his pride and belief in power. It was not an intrusion from the outside but rather a peaceful release of the inside. Without the foci to control the godhood built upon sacrifices and stolen power, the villain body began to crumble away. Despite all that, he clutched his hands around the only thing keeping his pathetic life around.

"No matter how you try to pry yourself away from this world, the marks on your soul would not fade away. You are bounded, forever and ever, to this place."

The spear snapped and bent, the space surrounding this node struggled to accommodate the chaos energy powering quirks running through it. As it broke down into a perfect sphere, it was sent flying out of the spatial barrier to somewhere far from the influence of the villain.

"WHO ARE YOU!? HOW DARE YOU STOP ME FROM MY GREATNESS? FROM MY CONTROL?"

"This planet's god."

"GOD? HAHAHaha. I'm going to murder you and control everything."

The struggle of the villain, using everything left of him to launch an attack aiming to cut this 'god' who dared step in his way from reality and confined him in a-

'A what?'

He thought, his memory jumbled around trying to recreate what the perfect prison to eternally trap the god. As he set his sights upon the arriving figure, the angelic presence attempted to purify the villain off his sins. He could not let things end like this. He must take control and be the one on top of everything.

Something forced him to gaze directly at the figure. It looked ... wrong.

"Surprise, thanks for the meal."

The figure twisted into a serpent head before devouring the villain whole. It could feel its mouth salivating at the three corpses falling to the ocean below but that would be infringing on the territory of another god. Afterall, it was her permission that allowed these people to sur- oh, there was only two. Baring its fang at the agent, the serpent crossed space, appearing beneath the agent and opened its mouth wide for a satisfying dessert for this hearty meal.

"Fuck off."

Time stopped the fall of the two heroes as their bodies began healing injuries severe enough to kill them. This power, she let that mere human borrowed her authority!

The serpent glared at the agent with furious eyes. Despite its anger at having the meal unfinished, it could not fight against this. Or rather, master forbade it from destroying his fun. A hiss of contempt rose from its throat, the serpent dissipated into space-time, removing itself from this reality before returning to its master.

The agent, after using the authority imbued inside the earing she had been wearing, felt her body failing at an alarming rate. But it was fine seeing the blue hue outline of teleportation around the three people. She closed her eyes, and let her teacher solved the rest.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"To invite the source of that wretched power to reclaim it."

"Is the correct option. Let the owner deal with the rabid dog. Nevertheless, I must thank you for saving my disciple."

"Shush, cunning child. Your speech grates on my nerve as much as it grates on your remaining conscience. This is the best outcome you foresaw. Stop giving feigned gratitude when everything is happening according to your plan."

"True. But the removal of All For One is a surprise, for sure. My prediction is to get my disciple to do a fatal trade off with the villain, not this happy ending we are having here. So that is the influence of those not under your thumb. Wild cards indeed."

The space crackled with intents, destruction following anger. Nothing happened beyond that.

"But this is everything for now. Regardless of how much you want to slaughter me over and over again across timelines, you are still my benefactor and thus, demands a reward. And finally, thank you."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The spatial barrier was reinforced and compressed, pushing every atoms inside closer and closer. A limit had already been crossed, stars were forming from the collision of atoms. Another limit was reached in mere moments, the final epoch for time failed to satisfy its existence. Soon, nothing was everything and everything was nothing.

Then the barrier disappeared, releasing the content into a faraway location via a comet shooting away from the solar system.

"It's done! Everyone on the move! We are replacing Japan."

Inside a security perimeter, aka another spatial barrier, construction works to recreate Japan were going on at utmost haste. A day to rebuilt any natural inorganic structure and characteristics such as mountains, islands, and rivers. Yet the present left behind from All For One challenged the motion.

"Report! Anomalous bubble spotted. 5km at 2 o'clock."

"Deploy the anchors! Stop and return to the front."

The work happened in time unseen before, unseemly late. The first step of rebuilding Japan was finished after a week, any remaining geological structure left as natural as possible. Then came the group responsible for bio-diversity and ecosystem rebuilding.

From the seed banks in Antarctica were seed of trees making up the the Japan's nature. Plants were easy enough with the time-acceleration technology skipping the growing process but animals, especially wild animals, were a horrendous mess to deal with. Luckily for the group, Japan's wild animals had been reduced so much through urbanization to the extent that the group only needed to match the region and cared not for accurate population density. The process took 3 days.

After letting the years coursing inside the bubble to naturally combine the artificial fauna and flora, rebuilding of urban landscape would took at least 2 weeks to finish. The supercomputers and AIs combed through billions of digitalized paperwork trails to recover every bit of the fallen cities.

Just like that, most thing returned to normal. The returning of Japanese population after everything had happened was so anti-climatic to the point that the first thing they needed to do was not checking for safety but rather getting back onto their monotonous office lives.

Everything was simply swept away in dust.
