In front of the Great Hall of Dajue Temple, there were many shadows sitting or surrounding the area, bustling with over a thousand people. Some were dressed in rough cloth, others adorned with ornaments, rich in attire, but all were solemn and silent, their gazes fixed on the stone steps before the hall.
Upon the steps sat a monk in white. His monk's robe was like snow, hanging motionless. He held Bodhi prayer beads in his hand, speaking of the law with brilliant words, his features were clear and peaceful, and the Buddha light seemed to radiate subtly from him.
Beneath the stone steps, a large incense burner was burning intensely, smoke curling upwards, rendering the atmosphere calm and solemn.
