Chapter 100 - chapter 99;the unforeseen eye pt2

I. The Silence of the Spheres

The King stood in the center of the stratosphere, his purified arm pulsing with a cold, rhythmic light. He didn't look at Null as an enemy, but as a stubborn stain on a pristine canvas.

"I have allowed you to move because a King requires a witness," the King whispered, his voice vibrating through the vacuum. "But witnesses can be too loud. Silence."

The command wasn't a sound; it was a law. Instantly, all kinetic energy around Null died. His momentum, the vibration of his white aura, and even the heat radiating from his skin stopped. He was frozen in a state of "Zero-Output," a statue of flesh suspended in the deep blue of the high heavens. He could feel his thoughts moving, but his nerves had been disconnected from reality.

II. The Blast of Erasure

The King reached for the ancient blade at his side the weapon that had once tasted the blood of the Prime Stone God. He didn't aim for Null's heart. He aimed for the space where Null's "Thread" was woven into the universe.

The King swung.

A beam of crimson light, so bright it made the stars look dim, erupted from the blade. This was the Blast. It didn't cut; it erased. As the beam hit Null's chest, the 365-day Mana clock in his iris began to spin in reverse at a terrifying speed.

300 Days... 150 Days... 30 Days...

The Shadow Raiment, built by the legends of the cave, began to shred into black dust. The "Blast" was stripping away Null's history, his power, and his protection. With a silent explosion of red energy, Null was catapulted back toward the planet. He fell like a dying star, his body wreathed in atmospheric fire, trailing smoke as he broke the sound barrier and hurtled toward the earth.

III. The Glitch-Bridge

Back in the rotting shed, Kai screamed, his hands clutching the Unfinished Stone. The artifact was glowing so brightly it was beginning to melt the skin of his palms.

Kai didn't try to copy the King's crushing authority; he knew his mind would snap like a twig. Instead, he searched for the one thing he knew better than anyone: The Error.

"I see you, Null!" Kai roared.

He triggered the Forbidden Copy. By copying Null's specific "Glitch" frequency, Kai created a "Glitch-Bridge"a momentary tear in space that bypassed the King's physical laws. As Null was about to hit the ground at terminal velocity, the air beneath him warped. The falling "star" vanished from the sky and reappeared, tumbling onto the cold, damp floor of the ancient cave.

IV. The Eyes of the Unforeseen

Null lay in the darkness of the cave, his body steaming and his skin covered in atmospheric burns. The White Blindfold was still wrapped around his head, but it was no longer a piece of cloth. It had fused with his flesh.

Underneath the blindfold, Null's mind was being fried. He had accessed the Eye of the Unforeseen Future. He wasn't just seeing the cave; he was seeing the King's birth, his own death, the collapse of the 20th Dimension, and a thousand variations of a future that hadn't happened yet.

The information was a flood of acid. His brain was sizzling under the pressure of seeing "The All."

Beside his broken body, a figure manifested from the dark smoke. It was Umbros. He wasn't in his terrifying God-form; he appeared as a small boy white hair, deep blue eyes, and a mid-to-light skin tone. He looked like the innocence that had been stolen from him eons ago.

Umbros knelt, his small hands glowing with a faint, dark light as he tried to stabilize Null's heart. "Dammit, kid... wake up. This isn't my specialty. I destroy; I don't mend."

V. The God at the Door

Umbros looked toward the mouth of the cave and shouted a name that echoed with divine authority. "ASURA!"

A pillar of golden light descended. Asura appeared, his armor caked in the red static of the "Ghost Lucifer" he had just defeated. He walked toward them, his expression grim. Behind him, the "Ghost" of the Morningstar w Awakens Asura had finished the fight by literally sitting on the reconstruction until its code shattered.

Asura knelt beside the boy-form of Umbros, placing his hands on Null's temples. A warm, golden radiance began to seep into Null's skull, cooling the "fried" neural pathways and slowing the flood of the Unforeseen Future.

"His brain is melting," Asura whispered. "The King pushed him into the Eye on purpose. He wanted Null to see the future so he would realize there is no version where he wins."

Umbros looked at the God of Light, his blue eyes filled with a rare, bitter realization. "I'm guessing he knows everything, Asura. We fell right into his plan. The King didn't just 'blast' him... he guided him here."

VI. The Parasite Awakens

Back at the High Castle, the King stood looking out at the hole in the sky where Null had been. He raised his right arm the one he had forged from purified darkness.

The arm began to twitch. It didn't obey the King's command to lower. Instead, the muscle began to ripple, and a faint, distorted heartbeat could be heard coming from the bicep. The darkness was gaining its own consciousness, a parasitic mind born from Null's hatred and the King's light.

The King stared at his own arm, a small, chilling smile touching his lips. "Even my own limbs are starting to rebel. How poetic."

He turned back toward his throne, his pink hair shimmering in the artificial light. "Let them hide in their cave. Let them heal. By the time the Eye finishes showing him the truth, he will come to me not as a warrior, but as a sacrifice."
