The second step was breaking the core and birthing the infant.
The Golden Core was like a mustard seed world. When the Nascent Soul broke through this shackle and came outside, essence, qi, and spirit would connect with heaven and earth, and a Nascent Soul phenomenon would appear.
Once this step was achieved, one would have officially stepped into the Nascent Soul stage.
