See, it was one of the things they deemed especially important.
The people of House Kyros couldn't possibly keep all the beasts underground any longer than necessary unless they were perfectly fine with Tortie eventually getting rid of all of them after being forced to stay down there himself just to maintain temporary peace and order.
Not exactly the best way to go, right?
Moreover, if it was anything like the upgrade to Dungeon Level 3, then they shouldn't have to worry about a gate suddenly falling from the sky.
Then again, Luca might've underestimated people's curiosity toward such a gate after forgetting that the entrance to the dungeon-linked space—which these people saw almost every day at the Kyros Manor—looked rather similar to the one that had just materialized.
If it had been them, who by now were overly familiar with the truly imposing gate, they might've ended up oddly excited by it instead.
