The mage didn't reply for a moment, the beads of sweat grew in numbers as his whole body was now totally drenched.

“H…he… I can't! His aura, his mana, his magic is growing. He is growing rapidly, I can't tame him. I can't. He's too…”

Meanwhile, in the shadow realm, Grey smirked as he lifted his hand and made a slashing motion in the air in front of him.

Grey Dawn had none. He was weak, useless, magicless and most importantly… a cripple in terms of magic usage.

Not until an accident where he almost brushed past death.

Summoned by a celestial, the seal placed on his core was shattered and there he was appraised.

Grey found out not only will he wield magic, he would come to become the strongest mage in existence with five affinities.

Confident, he enrolled at Lunaria academy. One of the four great magical academies.

Here, he meets awesome mages, forged bonds and most especially, rivalries.

With his squad, Grey blitzed through enemies… portal breaks, dungeons, bandits, kingdom invasion, he was clearing them all.

But it wasn't enough.

The foe the world was up against were not weak by any means. The Otherworlders!

Destroyers of planets, conquerors of worlds. Beings with destructive powers and backing.

“You really want to know who I am?” Grey demanded, lightning crackling around his hands. 

A sinister smile crept on his face hidden beneath his devilish mask as his glowing eyes narrowed at the man before him.

“... They call me; The Supreme Magus.”

“No-no way…”

Who would want to waste their time on a petty clash when the real deal was finally about to start? 


The tension in the air was so thick it could be carved with a blade.


"Ah damn… who has popcorn here?" Alba questioned with a sarcastic frown, her voice the only thing breaking the suffocating silence.


Grey was immediately gone, moving with a velocity far beyond anything the onlookers could fathom. 


Within a blink, he was already before Devan, a wind sword slicing through the air toward the bulky man's neck.


The wind sword was immediately deflected by Devan's Ki spear.


 Without delay, the man lunged forward, his weapon whistling through the air in a lethal thrust aimed at Grey's abdomen. 


Without even looking at the spear heading his way, Grey's second hand hauled forward, a lightning sword materializing into his grasp at the final moment.
